Scarlet is a personal trainer, certified through the American Council on Exercise and International Sports Science Association-two of the premier certifying agencies for top fitness professionals. Both require its members to pass continuing education courses every two years. Scarlet is also CPR certified through the American Heart Association.

Before becoming a personal trainer, Scarlet worked in the school office where her three children were enrolled. Age, combined with a sedentary job, caused the pounds to increase as muscle and strength decreased. A friend suggested adding weight training to the cardiovascular work she was doing. Even though she felt awkward at first, she joined a gym and began working out with weights and reading everything she could find concerning exercise and good nutrition. Within a few months the changes were evident and co-workers began asking her to explain what she had done to make such a difference. This eventually led to training friends and family members, then on to certification, and ultimately turning a passion into a profession.

Kaizen Fitness is a personal training studio with 245 square feet of work space. We use a variety of tools for strength building including free weights, medicine balls, flex balls, and a state of the art Free Motion cable crossover machine affectionately nicknamed "The Mangler" by a Kaizen Fitness client. The studio is located in the Ashton Staffing/Checkpoint Mortgage Office Park at 3590 Cherokee Street, Suite 101 C, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Oh, and that client is no longer afraid of "The Mangler," but has, instead, discovered her new favorite exercise using it!
